The story of Dian Fossey, the scientist who came to Africa to study the vanishing mountain gorillas, and later fought to protect them has inspired me since I discovered Gorillas in the Mist in 1988.

Dans cette série l’idée de la ligne ou de la frontière à ne pas franchir s’exprime de façon explicite. Tout écosystème doit être en équilibre pour ne pas basculer dans la destruction. Tel est aussi le cas dans une relation de couple lorsque le respect mutuel est en vacances.
La pluie colorée tel un rideau ou la bande rayée posée en surface, évoquant un chantier ou un lieu de crime, nous empêche ou nous interdit de pénétrer le fond.
Je me questionne sur la valeur des apparences, la séduction de la surface par les couleurs vives, au détriment du fond où se trouve de façon floue le sujet principal.
